The exhibition arised the interest of the professional community: the long-time Chairman of the Board of the Lithuanian Design Association Gediminas Lašas atended the opening. Annika Huber, an employee of the Cultural Department of the German Embassy in Vilnius, also participated in the opening of the exhibition. During it, Vilnius College Deputy Director for Science and Partnership Nijolė Zinkevičienė emphasized the important role of art and design events formating the college’s image and cultivating the subtle cultural atmosphere. The curator of the exhibition, lecturer of the MDF Graphic Design Study Program Jonas Malinauskas spoke about the importance of the poster genre for modern graphic communication, briefly presented the creative biographies of some poster authors. It is likely that the unique artistic solutions exhibited in the exhibition will provide students with new creative inspirations and expand their abilities of graphic expression.
