Event description and details:
The musical is the result of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) creative laboratory “The Manor Musical LAB” and brings together students and faculty from six countries: Lithuania, Latvia, the Netherlands, Spain, Bulgaria, and Switzerland.
From April 26th to May 4th, creative workshops will take place at Šumskas Manor, during which the creative concept developed collaboratively by the participants over several months will be refined and realized during the final project week as an interdisciplinary stage performance combining music, theatre, and the principles of collective creation.
The project stands out for its format—it is an intensive creative laboratory that emphasizes intercultural collaboration, the search for artistic solutions, and the ability to work in a dynamic creative environment.
The resulting musical will be presented to the public in the oval hall of Šumskas Manor, known for its unique acoustics.
Director – Emilė Ribokaitė, a master’s student at the Basel Music Academy / MuST (Switzerland).
Project Leader – Inesa Kurklietytė, Associate Professor of the Cultural Activities Management programme at the Faculty of Arts and Design.
The project is organized by the Faculty of Arts and Design, Vilniaus kolegija / Higher Education Institution.
